The Office of Administrative Hearings conducts hearings and resolves cases involving Notices of Infraction and Notices of Violation with respect to construction and business activities; agencies’ actions with respect to various types of licenses; and certain types of tax deficiencies.

- Stop Work Orders issued by the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs
- Disciplinary actions by the Department of Consumer and Regulatory Affairs concerning certain non-health related occupations
- Notices of Infraction issued by the Office of Planning about Historic Preservation
- Notices of Tax Deficiency (excluding property tax assessments) by the Office of Tax and Revenue
- Actions taken by the Office of the State Superintendent of Education to deny, revoke or suspend child development facility licenses
- Actions taken by the Lottery and Charitable Games Control Board to deny, revoke or suspend licenses of vendors of lottery products, if referred to the Office of Administrative Hearings
