Judge Brown was appointed as an Administrative Law Judge for the District of Columbia Office of Administrative Hearings in August 2026.

Prior to her appointment, Judge Brown served as an Assistant Attorney General at the Office of the Attorney General for the District of Columbia since 2019. There, she worked in both the Equity and Civil Enforcement Sections of the Civil Litigation Division, where she represented numerous government agencies in a wide variety of defensive and affirmative matters and litigated cases in the District Court for the District of Columbia, Superior Court of the District of Columbia, and various administrative tribunals.

In the Fall of 2016, Judge Brown served as a law clerk to the Administrative Law Judges of the DC Commission on Human Rights—Chief Judge David C. Simmons, Judge Dianne Harris, and Judge John P. Howard, III. She also served as a law clerk to the Honorable Kimberley S. Knowles of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia from 2018-2019.

Judge Brown was raised in Waltham, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree from Dartmouth College and her Juris Doctor from the University of the District of Columbia David A. Clarke School of Law. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
