Follow OAH's instructions for paying a fine if you received a Notice of Violation, a Notice of Infraction or a Final Order from an administrative law judge imposing a fine.

You may file documents with the Office of Administrative Hearings by e-mail, by coming in person, by mail, or by fax. Please be sure to check junk or spam email box for OAH correspondence.

Starting a case

Learn how to file a Notice of Violation, Notice of Infraction or documents, or otherwise request a hearing based on the DC government agency.

Preparing for a Hearing

Once a case has been started, the Office of Administrative Hearings will mail you a Scheduling Order that sets the date and time of the hearing.
